Hope you are all having a wonderful and relaxing summer!

As you might already know, SAO pairs upperclassmen with incoming first-years in our Big Sib/Little Sib program in order to help first-year students better transition to the challenges of college life.

Remember when you were a young first-year: alone, lost, and intimidated by the difficulties Swat life had to offer?

… Okay, that was kind of dramatic, but anyway, if you didn’t have a big sib, don’t you think it would have been nice to have a cool upperclassman show you the ropes? The best things to order at Essie’s, the food to avoid at Sharples, the comfiest places to nap, and the most interesting classes to take? And if you DID have a big sib, hopefully you want to become one as well! You’ll get to be that super awesome upperclassman who helps your little sib navigate Swat life.

If you’re interested in finding a little sib, please complete the

SAO Big Sib Questionnaire by MONDAY, JULY 6 @ 11:59 pm PST

Feel free to email us if you have any questions, concerns, or requests!

TL;DR Be a Big Sib, all the cool kids are doing it. Take the survey HERE.
